Spring and the Midwest Women's Sailing Conference are both still a ways off. In the meantime there is plenty of opportunity for learning and FUN:

February 11: Milwaukee Community Sailing Center - Sailor's Carnival. Free potluck and great for all ages. Activities include a scavenger hunt, water balloon toss, knot tying contests, trivia, and more. Call (414) 277-9094 or email for more details.

Various Dates: North U - Rules and Tactics Seminar. February 11 in  Wazata, MN; March 4 in Chicago, IL; March 5 in Milwaukee, WI; April 29 in Bouyne City, MI. For more information, visit the website.

February 12: Monroe Station Yacht Club Chicago - Rules and Tactics Seminar. David Dellenbaugh will speak about changes in the RRS for 2017-2020 and then have a discussion about tactics in fleet racing. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $75 per person  Call the CYC front desk to reserve at (312) 861-7777.
 
March 11: Columbia Yacht Club Chicago - US Sailing Safety at Sea. This is a one-day course which complies with US Sailing Safety at Sea requirements. Moderator is Brian Adams. Contact Kurt Thomsen at (312) 465-3514 or visit the website.

March 25: Crowley's Yacht Yard Chicago - Yachtapalooza. Classes, vendors, food, music, flea market, and more! Visit the website.

If you are the kind of person who always seeks for adventure and willing to spend a quite big amount of money to enjoy, this one is for you! Lucky are those who made it in Midwest Women's Sailing Conference because they get the chance to see the cozier and less stressful kid of life while growing old. By the way, the schedules seems right for me. I think that I'll be making it on one of your dates! Well, I've got to ask my friends first about this matter!
