Splicing: Easy as one-, two-, three-strand
Shelly Galligan

All dock lines and anchor lines should have an eye splice in one end. Sure, you can buy them pre-spliced. But we’re better than that. Our splices will be just as strong as one done by a professional rigger, and splicing an eye into three-strand rope is really very easy. In this hands-on class, we’ll learn and practice both the eye splice and the back splice – which is used to finish off the end of a line to keep it from fraying.
