Crew Overboard
Kristin Pratt

Why are crew overboard skills needed? How many people on board should know how to do a crew overboard recovery? In this workshop we will discuss a few crew overboard techniques for boats with sails only and for boats with motors available. We take a quick look at some equipment available to help in crew overboard situations as well as which tools we have on board that could be useful. Then we’ll discuss what can we do on a boat to lower risks for crew falling overboard, and what you should do if you are the one that fell in.
